Playing By Heart

Our first “regular” school semester began with a residency at Lyric Creative Space. Our students met each Saturday engaging in performance and skill-building work in acting, movement, voice and storytelling. The goal is to deepen their understanding of theater arts and performance through character study, improvisation, physical and vocal work and ensemble collaboration. The showcase performance is an opportunity for students to perform the synthesis of these skills.
